Why, oh why will Keaton be disciplined?

Over @ The Daily Liberty, George Phillies posted the LNC’s December 6th agenda and it seems that our esteemed leadership has set aside 30 minutes to discipline my running mate and LNC member, Angela Keaton.

I wondered in another thread whether or not Keaton would actually be disciplined with Mr. Root speaking first. That man is so wild with self-centered excitement that he may talk about himself for a whole 3 hours. Then, I learned that Kn@ppster thought that Angela might be receiving an award of some sort during this half hour. I thought about it for a sec and reasoned that with Angela, discipline might indeed be a reward. But, I know my running mate and there’s nobody on that list that she’d get hot & bothered over in a discipline situation so I decided Knapp must be wrong.

And, then I heard a rumor. Keaton is being disciplined by the LNC because she had the audacity to wear a Boston Tea Party tank top on her own personal time. Here’s a pic of the offending shirt:

To add to the matter, Keaton has signed up on a BTP Facebook page! Oh the horror!

Did the LNC lose its nuts the same time the LP was castrated? The Libertarian Party I joined didn’t give a fuck about these petty issues. I mean, if Keaton had worn a Budweiser tank during the same period would she have been called on the carpet for being a McCain supporter? The Libertarian Party I joined believed in freedom of association. Of course, the LP is a ghost of what it was several years ago.

In recent years some LPers actually believed so much in a real shot at winning the presidency- ahem, delusional- in this fucked up place that they sacrificed the heart and soul of the party. It’s like they kept looking at that red/black sign on roulette table and thought because red came up 27 times in a row they’d win on black; they never understood that the chance of winning didn’t change. Perhaps the LP has been playing at politicking so long that we’re as empty as the parties bigger than us. Maybe, just maybe we’ll serve as a good blueprint for what not to do for other third parties.

And then some members of the LNC can back get to doing the thing that seems to reward them most in life: checking Facebook pages for pictures of high school dance team members drinking from red Dixie cups at parties so they can call the dance coach and have them suspended.
