Been away from all things electronic

Last Sunday I was feeling a bit like this:

So, I packed my little Porsche and drove to NOLA to hang with the family. I had a wonderful time and think that I can face my East Texas town for a little longer now. I also think I might create a Longview Sucks blog but that’s a topic I’ll save for later. I ate well, golfed and gambled. I visited with an old friend and saw almost all the family. I played with my grandchildren and was even childlike myself at moments. It was a great week away from all things political- nope, I didn’t even vote- and most small hick town shit. Here are some pics (a little fuzzy as they were taken from my iPhone):

I got home last night and spent time with the doc and Little Bit. I guess they were bonding and the doc showed Little Bit how to shoot tequila. Don’t worry MADD members, she had only one shot.
