TSA is the problem again

ABC News is reporting that TSA damaged nine airplanes at Chicago O’Hare.

Nine American Eagle airplanes were grounded Tuesday after a TSA inspector, conducting an overnight security check, used sensitive instrument probes to climb onto the parked aircraft at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, aviation sources tell ABCNews.com.

What fucking idiots. You’d think their training would teach them that you can’t climb all over aircraft. I learned that in my very first flight lesson but would have assumed it anyway using that little thing called common sense. The worst part of it all is that the inspector’s actions were defended by TSA.

With Mesa Air Group reporting that 48% of TSA investigations involve a failure to maintain aircraft security, you’d think that airlines would demand that TSA to stop “protecting” us. Think about that next time you board a flight.
