The kiddo knows how to make a point

via reason hit & run:

Police in Wisconsin broke up a kegger last week. A root beer kegger. Wisconsin high school senior Dustin Zebro was irked that some of his friends were kicked off varsity sports teams after school officials spotted Facebook photos of them drinking from red cups. So to show that red plastic ups don’t always mean beer (he’s right, I remember putting mixed drinks in them, too), he threw a root beer kegger in the hopes of triggering more suspensions, then making school officials look silly. Turns out, the cops were called in on the gag, too.

Spam Quarter-barrel of 1919 Classic American Draft ROOT Beer: $29.95

Sticking it to the man on videotape and putting it on YouTube: PRICELESS!

There are some things in life that money can’t buy. Making narrow-minded people look foolish is something that requires a modest amount of considered thought. It’s good to see young people having fun in a safe way. You’ll remember this night for a long time. Well played.

  1. LOL, I love it! Morons. We used to drive by the pigs when I was in high school drinking the root beer bottles that looked like beer bottles. It would piss them off when they would pull us over to find out we were not evil beer drinking demons.

However in today’s police state, you would probably get tortured (tased), arrested and convicted of some retarded law brought to you by the Bush regime.

  2. Yeah…I had this one dumb cop in NM who kept asking me over and over what kind of beer my energy drink was. Even after I told him.

It has a label. I guess basic literacy is not a requirement to join the force. Is it asking too much for them to teach their officers the ABCs after they join up?

  3. Actually Paulie, you are correct:

  4. Nice one! It looks way too cold for me though. I love Texas!
