I really don’t know what to make of this but I know my candidates would never get a pass on anything sexual or drug related. Besides, what’s up with black men and this down low phenomenon?

Being in the closet is not exactly new, down low is just a black term for it.
I don’t think it matters at all if Obama is bi, why would anyone care?
It does matter if he still uses illegal drugs, since he supports the drug war.
But even if so, would outing Obama - whether as a bisexual or an illicit drug user - help anything? As far as I can tell, Hillary Clinton is worse.
By the way, she’s in the closet too. I don’t mean as a lesbian - I have heard the rumors for years and have no idea whether they are true.
What I do know is that her personal ideological beliefs are nothing like what she says in public. No, I don’t have any proof.
I think Obama is very likable and don’t really give two shits about his sexual tastes. But, when you live in a world that trumps up $500 donations from questionable groups for one candidate, looking at the company of other candidates seems like a reasonable thing to do.
That was a powerful video but I doubt that anyone will take it serious. I am voting for Ron Paul myself because he wants to stop The War On Drugs. Personally I feel that most politicians today are celebrities & in it strictly for the power & glory & EGO satisfaction. Politics is dirty business so why else would they be in it? The fun of it?
You are probably right, flybenji. I’m supporting Ron Paul as much as I can for the R Party nom, but will be fulfulling my duty to myself and party by ensuring the LP has a voice. That way, if the Republican Party screws up and nominates anyone other than the worthy Ron Paul, we still have a candidate (and party) of freedom.
I am definetly for LP now. I did not know much about it until Ron Paul came along. I have been reading about it in Texas & on the web. I think they can get people elected all over now & a third party can cause the democrats & republicans headaches in congress & senate because they LP will have the power to negoiate with votes. I do not think Ron Paul supporters are going to stop after this election. Not where I live. They are planning the future now with meetup groups & organizing their movement. These young people here are great & they are also highly educated & very smart. The boomers & seniors do not use computers much. Almost everyone I ask my age (63) says they know nothing about them. That is hurting Ron Paul because local TV, Radio & News Papers do not even mention his name in primary results unless it is something negative. These kids are going to the boomers & seniors in their families & explainging that & a lot of them are beginning to see it is true. Their older relatives are not happy about that & many are looking into Ron Paul. Blood is thick.
I hadn’t heard of this, but then again, I haven’t been following Obama’s campaign very closely.
I do agree with Paulie that “down low” is just another term for being in the closet. I don’t really care much about anyone’s sexuality, but I do think it poses a potential security risk if a candidate is trying to hide their preferences. The problem as I see it, based upon my experience in military intelligence, is that closeted candidates are far more likely to be subjected to blackmail. That’s an extremely serious problem.
I also think it’s a very serious problem if he’s using drugs but is a proponent of the War on Drugs, since that brings his honesty into question.
However, the idea of a polygraph examination strikes me as a bad idea. Polygraphs are notoriously inaccurate; it is junk science which cannot even be used as evidence in court.

I’ve got NO problem with gay people. Some of my family and friends are gay.
However, this *SECRET* BI-sexual stuff…I GOT A REAL PROBLEM WITH IT!
Do you know how many black women have gotten AIDS because their black men have been doing the “down low” thing? It’s not fair to their spouses.
Apart from this on a personal level:
ARE YOU SHITIN ME? We are about to elect this guy as PRESIDENT OF THE U.S.?? GIVE THIS GUY THE BOOT QUICK!
