What a day for liberty!

I was able to contribute to liberty today. For liberty, I attended a fundraiser in Highland Park and was able to contribute some dough. I would like to extend a special thanks to the Huffines family for their efforts; their house party raised more than $100k. From there was the Ft. Worth Ron Paul gathering, and there seemed to be at least 500 people in attendance.

Congressman Paul shared the freedom message and never missed a beat- though it would be hard to miss the beat of your heart.

  1. “Come and sing a simple song of freedom,
Sing it like you’ve never sung before,
Let it fill the air, tell the people everywhere,
That we, the people here, don’t want no war.”

    – “Simple Song of Freedom,” written by Bobby Darin

I thought of that verse while reading your entry, plus seeing the pictures and groundswell around Sen. Paul continue. It looks amazing … in fact, it kinda reminds me of what things appeared to be circa 1960s-style revolution (but without the acid … ;-) ). Maybe that’s my projection on what I read and saw … and I’ll own up to it.

    But it does look goooooooodddddddd.

    Grace and peace,

    Joe

  2. Miche,
    We had a great time!
Kinda reminds me of that article over at Lew Rockwell –”Having Fun Doing Good” – that’s what the Ron Paul campaign is all about!

    Love ya!
