“When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law.” Frederic Bastiat

I just caught this while surfing Digg. Great job on the interview. I can only imagine the nerves I would have been stuttering pudding man during that interview.
On the topics I think you nailed a key thing on the head. When asked about why people don’t *do* anything you responded that people feel that they just cannot make a difference anymore. I have to agree with you. More and more it is impossible to get your voice heard. Carrying a sign doesn’t seem to work or matter nowadays and can land you in more trouble than it is worth. People are busy and tired. Fighting the system against corruption or negative change takes energy, time and money. Most people don’t have all three.
Regardless I hope change comes soon. Maybe the blogosphere will help that some, maybe interviews like yours will help as well.
I wish I knew how to send you an email Miche, because I have a ton of stuff to say about people feeling that they can’t make a difference, resulting in apathy on their part. I’ve been working on a political project of my own in Alabama for around 4 years now, and I have found that apathy is our enemy. Rather than take up too much space here trying to explain what I’m doing in an effort to combat that, I will just refer you to a one page on my website where I try to tell Alabamians what they can do if they want to change things. The page is @ http://www.doctoriq.com/youcan.htm.
Hey, awesome job! You should totally videoblog. Like, a lot. I think it would increase the hits here by several orders of magnitude.
I’ll try to catch Stanhope’s show, probably in Memphis or Nashville. Looks like B’ham is probably out at this point. Or maybe Texas with you all if I end up heading in that direction and skipping Massachussetts.

Some peeps were talking about their weddings at Bold Voices TV so I pulled a couple of my wedding pics to share on the show. Since some chatters can’t get shows, I decided to share here as well. These are pics of pics because I didn’t want to upset the album. [...]
So, back in the day, I did a small part in a movie filmed in Dallas. I just spent a ton of dough to get a copy from the UK because some friends were curious as was I. Space Marines arrived today. I haven’t had time to watch it all yet but [...]
Looking for a comment supposedly made in the Keyes/Obama debates. Needed a place to post the image… sorry this isn’t a full post or if it doesn’t make sense to you. Perhaps it will after I finish the research. Smooches, y’all.
Jeez, I’d forgotten how much work this is! Anyway, Little Man, Alaina and I have been having a blast. These were taken yesterday when we had sno-balls at the park.
Until yesterday, I didn’t realize how much I’ve neglected this place in favor of perfecting my swing. Been playing 36 a day and only stopped today because my niece and nephew came for a visit. Here’s a pic of Maddie playing “princess” in an old wedding veil donated for my grandbabies’ dress-up box. [...]
Great Job!
She should really try to get on the Howard Stern show or Bubba the Love Sponge.
Heck, Tucker was on BTLS the other day, he should have said something.
Awesome interview. You did a great job. Loved the REVOLUTION shirt!

I thought you looked great and you were very well spoken!
You represented well, and Tucker is just a great host! I’m very impressed with him!
I feel like an idiot for getting so tongue tied. Argghh. If only we could turn back time. ;o)
I bought the tickets for Stanhope’s show. There will be 6 of us.
I think you did great, I could never look that good on television!
I can’t wait to see Doug!

“I think Ron Paul would change you life because he’d allow you to live your life” – oh my god, good stuff, you go girl! I’m going to watch this again.
You have definitely inspired me to get more involved.
