Papers please

I am wondering if I live in Dallas or Nazi Germany. According to James Ragland of The Dallas Morning News, DPD is setting up checkpoints to catch criminals. And USA Today is reporting that effective January 1, 2007, Texas will ban smoking in private homes where foster children are present.

Jeez, what will they think up next?
